Is it possible to use the app to create an order without internet?
I took off internet and created an order but it did not save.
With power outages and low network coverage in most countries in Africa, FiCOS inventory management and retail management system should be customized to work offline! For instance in Agribusiness, FiCOS retail management system can be a great Point of Sale for agents who go out to the field to buy produce from farmers! Agribusiness agents sometimes buy metric tonnes of maize from the farmers during the season and have to come back reconcilliate in the inventory on the FICOS app! This is double work! And because agents spend long hours buying huge sums of produce in very remote places, they come back tired, that is to say, they will be a lot of human error in their input this causing financial loss! FICOS retail management is a solution it should cause financial losses to their customers in Agribusiness! Cheers!

So far, we have done
- adding and managing customers can be done when there is no internet.
- Settling Debts of customers , bulk payment that pays off all historical orders can be done offline.
- adding and managing sales orders can be done when there is no internet,
- adding pending payments to sales orders can be done when offline.
- adding and managing expenses can be one offline.
- attaching receipts to expenses supports offline support.
- Support for managing expense categories offline
- Managing product categories works offline.
- Managing products can be done when offline(add,edit,cancel)
- adjusting stock manually can be done offline
- adjusting stock prices manually can be done offline
- Offline auto stock adjustments when you do a sales order.
- refund/return management now can be done while offline.
- supplier add,edit,cancel can work offline
what is left to do
- Offline product history
- supplier orders
- some settings.
Once done, i will release a new version and offline support will be allowed in Ficos

This s a game changer for the Agribusiness sector in Uganda! Produce dealers would go to remote areas to buy produce and they have to input the data manually then they have to re-input the data in the system! This was not only time consuming but error prone because by the time they are inputting data they are extremely exhausted with field work! Kudos FiCOS team
