We’re introducing a powerful new feature in our retail management system – Advanced Stock Alerts. This is not just another low-stock warning; it’s a smart, targeted notification system designed to keep your inventory under control without overwhelming you with unnecessary messages.
How It Works
When one of your products starts running low, our system sends a clear and easy-to-understand notification to the right staff members, providing key insights to help them act before stock runs out.
Each message includes:
- Current Stock Levels – Know exactly how many units are left.
- Estimated Days Before Stock Runs Out – A prediction based on recent sales trends.
- Supplier & Delivery Insights – Who usually supplies this product and when you can expect new stock if you order tomorrow.
- Reordering Recommendations – How many units you need to order to last for the next month and the estimated cost.
Where You Can See These Alerts
- Push Notifications for Inventory Staff – Only staff members responsible for inventory management will receive these alerts. Other users will not get notifications unless they have permission to handle stock.
- Messages Are Saved in Support Center – Even if you miss a push notification, the system automatically saves the message under Reminders in the Support Center. You can access this by tapping the menu icon and selecting Support Center. This ensures that important inventory updates are always available when you need them.
- Respects Notification Preferences – If push notifications are disabled in your settings, the system will not send a mobile alert. However, you can always find your stock alerts in the Support Center under Reminders.
