We have issues when implementing FiCOS retail Management System because of the digital literacy not only of users but the staff we employ to handle the system! There is also an issue of adoption of this systems in our business as staff have a negative reaction towards change! Some staff don't trust in their ability to manage and implement the system while some users are not convinced easily and do not trust the system because of their past experiences with fraud! The governments in Africa have to put a lot emphasis on digital literacy training to sow a seed of trust among users of Point of Sale systems like FICOS! Governments also have to develop and implement robust systems and policies to combat cyber insecurity in Africa!
